Hassian wasn’t expecting anyone else to be in the forest that day. Neither did he anticipate Tau running straight for that person, nor them to turn out to be human. He also didn’t see getting stuck with the runt in his future, and under no circumstances did he expect to someday no longer hate that he was.
It happened on its own and I had nothing to do with it.
